FileMaker Pro 6 security over web

Please help,

I have build a database in filemaker pro 6 with 2 buttons each going to two different layouts. Button 1 accesses a layout that only members of the "managerGroup" can access and Button 2 accesses a layout that only members of the "clientGroup" can access. I successfully set two different passwords for each of the two members and the program works fine - "clients" can only see layout 1 and "managers" can only see layout 2. The problem arises when I serve the database over our company's intranet. When you logon to the database through your browser, you are prompted for username/password but no matter what password you enter (client or manager) access is granted to both layouts.
