First, sorry if we are in the wrong forum, but hey we're new at this...

We have got a problem with linking ms word documents in a record of FMP5.5:

If we use a containerfield with a link to a ms word document, ms word will open in FM but it won't open in a webbrowser(explorer 5.5).And there is the problem, we want to open it in a webbrowser.

Can anybody help us with this matter!

Web Companion only supports a limited range of container contents: gif, jpeg, pdf (I think) but not MS Word.

Put the Word docs on a web server and put the path/filename in a field in the db so users can download them.
