Anyone here know of a good way (internal or external plug-in) to batch import sound data into a container field? I have a bunch of VOX files I need to get into records in a FileMaker database and I can't see any way of doing it other than the manual way. I know I could batch up path and file name references and keep the files on disk (which, yes, would be the most efficient use of space) but I'd like them in FileMaker all the same.

Any ideas?

I don't know how you would do it on a Windows machine, but on a Mac you might want to have a look in the Filemaker and Apple Events folder and take a peek at the Importing Pictures sample script. With a bit of tweaking I'm sure that would be able to batch import sounds.
