I have two files, a source file and a receiver file. The members of the source file may change periodically so I want to allow the user to select from a pop-up list of names and copy the record contents of the selection to the receiver file (for a history of selections). I have a more extensive description of the problem posted in the value list forum but maybe this pared down piece belongs under scripting. I know I am missing something easy here but, after some hours, can't seem to accomplish what seems to me should be a very simple task.

Help is much needed and will certainly be much appreciated.
