Hi all - i am new to FM so please forgive ...

I have three dbs; product, productnotes, notetypes. The product db has two layouts; a product definition and then notes. The notes are dynamic, depending upon which note type is selected, I want to insert a row into the product notes db (i.e. prodno, notetype, notetext). I setup portal to display all available notetypes (selfjoin), and a portal to display the note (product to productnotes). Everything works for the first note selected - the prodno, notetype and notetext get inserted - but if I select another notetype, I am getting, just the prodno, but no typetype to insert? Any help is apreciated - thanks
