This depends on both the OS and the programs, but yes data can be manipulated in such a fashion usong Apple Events, Frontier, VBS, VBA, and other means.

My client wants to know if it is possible to not just link files and applications to FMP...but can you pull specific data out of something like an AutoCAD file...and if so...how/what would you use...DDE?
