Rattlesnake Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 hi, I am using Filemaker 5.5 on Windows 2000 Professional. I have a form that contains a button to print the form. What I want is to print the form to a specific network printer without getting the printer dialog box . Note:The printer is not the default printer in the end users profiles. Thanks
cjaeger Posted June 3, 2003 Posted June 3, 2003 you can check for currentprinter with status(currentprinter). And then there is an script which sets the printer via windows registry and a batch file. Have alook at this thread first. http://www.fmforums.com/threads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=UBB31&Number=30516&Forum=All_Forums&Words=windows%20registry%20batch&Match=And&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=allposts&Main=30510&Search=true#Post30516 There is a solution at www.filemakerprofis.de just do a search in the tips& tricks forum(maybe using google translation service, as all is in German).
