Is it possible in fm5.5 that you can put a color in a field, that the color will only be for that field in that record. What i am trying to do is color code the name field in different records that does not put the color in all the records name field, just the ones i need. thans

If you download the latest version of my sample file "RussCalcs from Oz" under the "Handy Bits" thread in the sample section of this forum, there is an example of selecting a conditional coloured background. I think its on page 2 by now - or if you sort by the number of view it will be up near the top. Make sure you go towards the end of the threas to get the latest version (v5).

In your case, the condition would be when you r record is marked or the name matches certain criteria.
