Hi All,

has anyone used fm pro and ms word together. i need to create an e-mail which exports the info from my FM Pro solution in to a word document. then attach the word document to my e-mail plugin (dacons mail it 2). the recipient of the e-mail requires the e-mail (attachment) to show information but with a logo and header info (underlined in bold etc) at the top of the word document so im guessing word is best???

is this possible? any suggestions?

I am assuming you are trying to put together a quote document or something similar. The best method I have found is by using the Full version of Adobe Acrobat. You create a layout in FMP which displays all the information you need in the document (graphics and text), set up a script to print the document to the Acrobat distiller, and attach the document to your outgoing email.

There are some technical and software issues to work out before you can go with this solution so if you are interested in a more detailed explanation, please contact me.
