Set a Different Printer By script

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I run a script, I want to print on a bar code printer, but I want to keep my laser printer configuration when the script is over...

How can I do this... I don't want to do it manually...

Hi,

If you are on a Mac you can do this using Applescript, if not then you will need to get a plugin or winbatch which will change the printer for you - I have no experience with these BTW it is just what others have recommended.

Have a look through the forum posts there's been a few discussions on this which you may find useful - giving the names of the plugins etc.

Ed.

just read a bit further down in the forum.

this question has been asked many times.

Windows requires editing the registry by batch file.

Just have a click on the "search" button above ...
