Some of the correspondence put in the log has a hard copy that goes into the project specific hard file. To connect the hardcopy to the contact log we need a record specific serial number I.e (Record ID-(record specific numerical serial). Is there any way to have an autoupdating serial number for each correspondence attached to each record in a database? Does that make any sense?
