Colour Value List

Hi, I have a FM database and would like to create a value list so that when I click on it I can select a colour, for exmample the field is called Priority, I would like to click on it and select a red or blue box. Is this possible?

i dont think it is possible in a Value list as such.

what is the criteria for choosing a colour?

You can create a calculation where when a certain result is returned it gets the colour from a container field.

Set a Global container field with repetitions of however many colours you want and place colour boxes in to it.

Then create a Display field with a Case calculation to GET REPETITION(Container field) dependent upon your result.

e.g. Case( RESULT FIELD = 1, GET REPETITION (CONTAINER FIELD,1)......
