Importing into drop down menu fields?

Featured Replies

I have a database that I am importing information in from an excel spreadsheet. When I designed the database (due to my inexperience) I put in a bunch of drop down menus. For instance, products and their UPC numbers. I am now trying to import the data but can't get it into the fields that have drop down menus.

Is there a way to do this or am I going to have to put the data in by hand?

Hi Schalven,

Maybe I do not completely understand your question or the way you designed your database, but you can always import data into regular fields (i.e. fields that are not a calculation, summary or global)

Having a valuelist attached to a field on a layout does not influence this.

Regards,

Ernst.
