Value list won't reveal in windows environment

I have developed a solution in mac and windows environments. Some fields are repeating fields (five repetitions). The values of these fields can be obtained from a value list shown as a pop - up menu. (the values are amounts of text).

The mac version works fine - click on the field, pop-up menu appears, select text, and in it goes!

On The PC, however..... click on the field.. nothing happens, I cannot gain entry to the field.

I have checked the field format and "gain entry to field is selected"

The solution is exactly the same, copied on to CD from mac and then dragged over to PC. I have deselected "read only" from properties menu.

Any suggestions?
