iBook sleep mode disconnects client

I am using an iBook to connect to a Win 2000 server with a wireless Airport card. When I close the laptop, it goes to sleep mode. I lose my connection with my FMPro host on Filemaker Server, but the network connection remains intact. I saw a relevant post, #49475 with the same problem. The error message this generates is "Connection with host was interupted & could not be re-established
