Hi,

I've got a JDBC beginners question.

Does JDBC 'talk' directly to FM-server of like with ODBC only through FM-client?

NO jdbc talk to Fmp client with the web companion. So you need to use a fmp client with web companion, and If you need to use the solution more than 10 hours you will need to use Filemaker unlimited.
