The Mad Jammer Posted July 24, 2003 Posted July 24, 2003 On occasion the first line of a text box will not print. Everything else on the layout prints except the first line of text. Even the perview looks OK. And it's an intermittant problem to boot. The printer is an HP 2100. Any ideas about what may be happening? Thanks The Mad Jammer And then...there was nothing
business model Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 have you tried switching to a different font? tht usually works for me.
CobaltSky Posted August 16, 2003 Posted August 16, 2003 Hello Mad Jammer, I'm not sure from your description, but this may be related to a conflict that FM has with some printer drivers that causes font imaging to behave erratically when the vertical alignment of the text in question is set to 'center'. If the text is question has center alignement rather than 'Top', try resetting it to align at the top and see if that makes a difference.
The Mad Jammer Posted September 4, 2003 Author Posted September 4, 2003 I'll give these ideas a try. Thanks for your help. the Mad Jammer and then...there was nothing
tmanning Posted September 11, 2003 Posted September 11, 2003 I have fudged it by adding a tiny paragraph return before the first line if the text is in a text box or a merge field. Usually not the best idea to fudge things but sometimes it's the quickest way.
