Poida Posted August 6, 2003 Posted August 6, 2003 Hi all, I dont know if I am posting this in the correct forum but any help would be appreciated. My question is ----> Is it possible to setup a filemaker database to talk to a DOS based accounting/admin program which my schools currently uses. The program is called OASIS (It is anything but) and runs on a novel network. I want to have a filemaker database setup to permently talk to OASIS in order to allow teachers to see who has paid for excursions etc on a website. Is it possible. Many thanx in advance Poida
fishma Posted August 6, 2003 Posted August 6, 2003 If the Oasis program is ODBC compliant you can exchange information between the two systems. The logon information will be required for the initial ODBC setup. Be prepared for a headache here even if Oasis is ODBC compliant. You will have to learn how to extract the correct information form Oasis and then interpet that information for your FMP application.
