need help turning off change password under menu

Hello,

I was wondering if someone can help me. I am have two group one is call Sales & the second call Operations. The Operations Group can only browse and print record but i notice that under the menu of filemaker pro when i login with the password assign to the group, they have the option to change the password. i want to turn off that option. i am using filemaker pro 3.0.

any help would be appreciate it,

Hey Victor,

This maybe a problem with older Filemaker versions. Version 6 (and maybe earlier versions as well) has an option to allow/disallow users with a certain password to change it. It is in the Password dialog.

yeah, I was thinking it was filemarker pro 3.0 issue. Good thing we are migrating to 6.0 soon.
