This is probably an easy question. I've created a address label calculation field. When in browse mode, the field contains "1.1552E+15" until I click in the field, at which point the address label looks perfect.

Is this an error message? What is the problem?

Filemaker expresses the number in scientific notation so it can fit in the field boundaries.

Resize the field to get a regular format.

Could also be that the calculation field's type is set to 'number' in stead of 'text'. You change this with the popup menu in the bottom-left corner of the calculation's definition. It defaults to 'number' so this is quit likely the problem.
