Printing/corruption issue II

Newbies

OK, I think I've narrowed it down a bit.

I'm trying to print labels from a table. Using the file that's a 'template' for our wirelist database, I can print fine. Making a copy of the template, I can print fine.

BUT...

If I _add_ records to the copy, originals in the file print fine, but my additions are all out of whack.

SO...

Is there some setting for DE that might have gotten screwed up that's affecting the way new records are created (ie: insert v. overwrite)?

BTW, new records are added through a script (access to which I do not have) which either inserts a blank record or increments a prior record. Using either method produces the same result.
