Hi All,

I am sure this shouldn't be too bad for you expert types..

Ok so all I want is a script that matches the requested_date in one file with the available_date in another and this then lists all those people that are available in another layout, if you need more details please ask, I am desperate for assistance

There are several ways to do this. Once possibility would be to set up a relationship between the files based on the two date fields. Your script would be to find the requested_date, then Go To Related Records based on the date relationship. This should leave you in the "available" file with a found set of all records where the available date matches the requested. From there your script could carry you to the appropriate list layout, sort, etc.
