Can you create filters in FM5 or is there some other way FM5 limits what the user sees?

It's easy to limit what fields and layouts a user can see using groups and access under access privilages.

It is harder to limit users to a subset of the records. Somewhere I saw a solution that used a self relationship based on user name and layouts that were esentially giant portals. While I haven't tried this myself, it shouldn't be too hard to do.

I just found a posting in the Scriptmaker forum about the solution on limiting to subsets of records that I was thinking of.
