I have a container field with an inserted object (bmp picture) that the user activates and edits with Microsoft Paint (draws on the inserted object).

Because of the larger size of bmp files, I would like to use gif or jpeg images. (Inserted file references will not due for my project) This seems to work fine too with one exception. When the gif or jpeg object is activated, Microsoft Photo Editor opens instead of Microsoft Paint. I'm running Windows XP, and I have change the file associations on the system--so, when I open gifs or jpegs on the system I get Microsoft Paint. Regardless of the changed associations on the system, Filemaker still opens the gif or jpeg objects with Microsoft Photo Editor.

I'm clueless what is going on. Please help.
