I use FP on a Mac. When I open a database I would like it to open in a particular layout (of course it is an other one it opens in, the one I made first, thank you Murphy).

How can I change in which layout it opens first?

Thanks

Hi, you can either

1. Set the opening layout from the document preferences

2. Create a startup script and set that script in the document preferences.

Preferences can be found under the edit menu (unless on OSX where it can be found under the FileMaker Pro menu.

The benefit of creating a script is you can do more than just change the layout if you need to.
