dymo label printer 320

Featured Replies

hi,

i'm having trouble getting a dymo label printer 320 to work with filemaker pro 6.0v4 on x.2.6.

it just prints out blank labels.

we have installed the latest printer drivers for the dymo label printer.

we have tried with a new file, which doesn't work, and with other applications (ms word), which does work.

any ideas as to what could be wrong?

thanks,

jd.

Check the position of the label in print preview mode...

Maybe you are printing outside the label boundaries??

I'm using the same labelprinter and never had a problem.

We've been using LabelWriters for three years, no problems with OSX, but check the same things you'd check with any printer, apart from what Balder mentioned:

Make sure you're on the right layout

Make sure you've got the correct portrait/landscape choice selected

Make sure you've got the right print setup

And, yes, as Balder suggested, make sure that the label looks correct in Preview mode. If the label looks right in Preview, the thing should print.

Also, make sure the labels are in the printer the right way up.

hi,

it works now! there were two main problems, 1 is that you have to select page setup options for the label printer, just setting up a labels layout with the correct options, isn't enough. and, our label wasn't listed, but i found one that is the same size.

thanks for the feedback,

jd.
