johnmci Posted January 1, 1970 Posted January 1, 1970 I think is a common problem... Running FileMaker Server over a Windows network in a school district. I have several solutions running that all have printing scripts like Landscape-current record, Landscape-all records, Portrait-current record, and Portrait-all records. And all the layouts that print have 1/2 inch margins. These scripts work great EXCEPT... There seem to be a few rogue printers out there (an HP 800 series deskjet comes to mind) that ignore the landscape scripts and just print portrait. This is EXTREMELY frustrating to the users who take it out on me. Is there a generic printer driver out there that I should use when I create my printing scripts that would actually work with a variety of printers? John McInerney
