Is this a bug, or is it just me..??

I tried to use Status(CurrentFieldName) in a script and it gives me back the field contents. BTW, Status(CurrentFieldContents) also gives me field content.

Anyone else have this problem, or am I doing something wrong??

GetField(Status(CurrentFieldName) does indeed gives back the field contents.

Othewise, it gets the current field name. (if the calc is used in scripts or in an unstored(!) calc)
