Does anyone have a formula that puts the zip code into a field after tabbing from Suburb/City field

A common trick is to use a self-relating lookup based on the town. I do this in reverse when a customer gives their zip I can pre populate the town, phone exchange and Province (state)

This assumes that you have a large database of existing people. Since my clients are almost all from the same town, I am pretty much assured that their zip is already cataloged in my database.
