Deletion Slow Down

I have a solution which went from a record deletion taking a few seconds to it taking several minutes to delete a single record. The file has 131 relationships and I am wondering if I went over a magic number of 128 relationships? I removed the cascading deletes from those relationships that had them and it made no difference. Any ideas or suggestions?

We found the problem. It seems when there is only one record in the file and you attempt to delete it, it takes over two minutes. When there is at least one other record than the one you are deleting, then the delete takes two seconds.

Just curious, what does your solution does?

It is simultaneously monitoring multiple statuses for about 40 items.
