Chetgeo Posted November 4, 2003 Posted November 4, 2003 Has anyone successfully implemented a Digital Signature Pad into a database? I would like some recommendations, and pro's and con's if anyone has any feedback on this. Thanks one and all Think outside the Box!
jnc62567 Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 One is for Windows and the other is for Mac. They both work similarly (to the user). I haven't actually put them in a database solution, but I have tried them out - seems to work well. You can do the signature using a mouse, but using a pad (such as Graphire from Wacom) is easier to use. There is no difference as far as the code is concerned - it is just easier to hold a pen and make a signature than to try to manipulate a mouse and do it. You can check the filemaker website to get the address of the plugins - look for scribble and emagexscribble.
