Chris Williams Posted November 13, 2003 Posted November 13, 2003 Is there a known/proven way to find a corrupt layout? Using Mac OS X and FM Dev 6.
Vaughan Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Most certainly. 1) Enter Layout mode. 2) Scroll between the layouts until the computer crashes. 3) Remember which layout caused the crash. Always works for me. The *really* hard thing is deleting the corrupt layout without crashing the computer. Usually the problem is a corrupt object (often a graphic) on the layout, rather than the layout itself being inherrent corrupt. Scrolling the layout down, or resizing the window so the corrupt objects are not visible on screen can prevent the crash.
