When I create a FMP database, I can bring in a QuickTime video. Is there a way to stream the video and at the same time record an audio file? In other words, a silent movie plays and while watching this movie create a audio file discibing the movie.

That is something that woulod have to be done in video editing software if you want the audio to playback while watching the movie. Most of the editing software will allow you to add audio to the video.
