Deleting Field Taking A Long Time?

I'm working with Developer 6 in OSX Panther and when I'm in the defining Fields Box and when I choose to delete a Field(s) it takes 4 to 5 min for this to happen. Anyone else having this problem and can it be fix. This is slowing me down working with fileMaker.

I have found Developer is very slow when deleting fields, in fact I ve had it crash a few times.

Since updating to 10.2.8, FileMaker works better when deleting fields .

The other thing I ve found is if there are a lot of fields in a file it takes longer.

So the good news is your not alone.
