Newbies Triskal Posted February 5, 2004 Newbies Posted February 5, 2004 I am having a problem with my version of FileMaker Server 5.5v4. It's running on Mac OS X 10.1.5 right now on a quicksilver G4. It seems that when I try to access the Remote Administration system, it tells me that my password is incorrect. I have tried time and again retyping passwords in both the server and the client, and restarting the server app as well as the whole machine. I cannot get into the Remote Admin. Any ideas? Thanks! Shawn
Vaughan Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 I've had this trouble for some time too but made solving it a low priority. Its a G4 (AGP Graphics) with FMS 5.5v4 on 10.1.5. A colleague has remote admin working on a similar machine running 10.1.5. The only difference I know about is that he has moved the FMS folder to the Applications folder (not left it in the root of the hard drive where it's installed by default). <time passes> I just moved the FMS folder from the hard disk root into the Applications folder and now the remote administration password works!
