I have muliple printers. I've set up two identical print scripts, one for each printer. I'll print the record to the printer i want it to go to, and "replace" the printing settings in the script for that particular script. Unfortunatly, it changes both scripts. How can i do this?

Thanks

Have you included the print setup script step in your scripts? If not add it, I think that may solve the problem.

Ed,

BTW- I think it is called something different on a mac, like page setup or something along those lines anyway - just in case your a mac user.

I have a similar problem. I have several printers and print on different sized paper in each. I thought that I could use the Print Setup script step to remember the printer and paper size options that I want for an individual report. The problem is that if I change the print setup in the script for one report, the printer selected seems to be mirrored in the print setup in other scripts that are set to "restore" setup options. I hope that this is clear. Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong?

Max:

What platform, OS and FileMaker version are you using?

Printer switching on Windows can be problematic when there are multiple page sizes, etc... You might want to consider using something like Afeina Software's Pro-Print plugin.
