Hi

We have a database that has calculations that go back to prehistoric times. In the interim , before we build a new database, we need to use our existing one. We have 15 minute waits per page and they are printing checks for customers. Can that job be split up somehow. The file is on a network. Can it speed things to have several people doing things on it at once. I am sure the printer can handle it but not the file. Any suggestion would be most helpful

Are they summary fields? These take time to process....

Sometimes summary fields can be replaced with related calculation fields, but it usually requires significant re-design.

Another option is to reduce the record count: export records that are not required into an "archive" file.
