In the interim , before we build a new database, we need to use our existing one. We have 15 minute waits per page and they are printing checks for customers. Can that job be split up somehow. The file is on a network. Can it speed things to have several people doing things on it at once. I am sure the printer can handle it but not the file. Sometimes summary fields can be replaced with related calculation fields, but it usually requires significant re-design.
