FM4, G3 8.6, Swann V90 Ext Modem

Trying to merely dial phone via FM instead of doing it manually, to talk to someone.

Everything works except 'Hanging Up in 60 seconds' appears and a repeating sound occurs. It appears it is trying to connect to a fax or similar.

Is it possible to use FM to dial phone in this way and, if so, what setting have I got wrong?
