Can anyone tell me whether the Troi Dialog Plug-In will submit test to a Filemaker system Dialog. For example, I am creating a login file (gateway) to all of our various databases. I would like to control the access level to each user. So one use could have full access to one file, but only partial access to another.

I would like Troi Dialog to be able to post text into the FileMaker Password Dialog when it open a file from a script. Is this possible?

I don't believe this is possible. The Troi Dialog plug-in allows you to create new customized dialogs, but not to alter or control the dialogs already built into FileMaker.

However, you can supress the password dialogs by first opening another file whose password is the same. After a file-protected password (even if the password is a default password), subsequent files that require passwords will attempt to use the last successful password. Good luck!
