I have a db file that generates reciepts for my clients which is fine for printing and sending to the clients,but is there a way of outputting this file so I can email it to my clients in a way that they can read and print it even if they dont have a copy of filemaker??

You could attach a PDF of your printout to an email.

You could create a calculation field that concatenates the information and places that in the body of the email.

You could get a plug-in like SMTP it which will allow you to do better layouts in an email (HTML etc) and send that to a client.

There are many ways of getting your data out of FileMaker and into the clients hands without the need for them to have a copy of FileMaker.

These are just a few ideas for you to think about.
