Harald Posted February 28, 2004 Posted February 28, 2004 How do I delete IP adresses which still are shown in the host dialog box in the list at the bottom of the host-window? The adresses were added "permanently" to this list but how do I get rid of them? Not a big problem but an annoying one ;-) Greetings Harald

ernst Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 MacOS X: Macintosh HD -> Users -> YourUserAccount -> Library -> Preferences -> Filemaker Preferences -> Filemaker Hosts MacOS 9: Macintosh HD -> Sustem Folder -> Preferences -> Filemaker Preferences -> Filemaker Hosts No idea about how this works in the Windows world, but search for the 'Filemaker Hosts' file... EddyB Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Hi Harald, On Windows... C:Documents and SettingsAdministratorApplication DataFileMakerFileMaker Pro6.0FMHosts.txt Application Data is a hidden folder in Windows so you need to enable view hidden folders and files. Control Panel -> Folder Options -> Click View Tab -> Select "Show hidden files and folders" Regards Ed
Fenton Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 Wim Decorte created a little file that can do this directly, without having to look for folders, at http://www.connectingdata.com/downloads.htm. It requires the Troi File Plug-in. (I helped with the Mac path :-)
