Aloha, my nonprofit can

Med, try creating a relationship in conf2004 file that links back to the Contacts file. Then create global fields of the fields that you want to copy the information into the conf2004 file. Next create a script in the Contacts file that sets all the global fields created above. The last step of this script will call a script in the conf2004 file "New record script". Now add the global fields to your layout in conf2004. The global fields can be invisible to the user. Now create the "new record script" in conf2004. the script will create a new record and the set the fields in the conf2004 to the appropreate values of the global fields.

I'll be trying to implement your suggestions tonight, haven't worked w/global fields, etc. before...at last, hope is on the horizon!
