I have seen or heard about a facility to protect individual records and layouts by password. I am not sure if this is a plug in or script function. Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Look into "groups" in the "access priveleges". This will allow you to restrict layouts based on passwords, groups, etc... (just pointing wink.gif" border="0)
