What is the difference between the STATUS functions in v6.x and earlier, and the GET functions in ver 7?

Any, or just some new additions... do I need to use these functions in a different way in my calculations and scripts?

Syntax only ... in theory, the "Get" is more appropriate for the new format of TO and TOGs.

The Status functions might have originally been meant to check status during a script.

But they are used for other things and as more are added it has become a misnomer. I think that 'Get' just describes them more accurately.
