How do I prevent a user from entering a return keystroke or better yet if they enter a return keytroke it sends then to the next field.

Version: v6.x

Platform: Mac OS 9

This is a feature of v7, but not of v6. However I believe that there will be a product (plug-in) becoming available within the next few weeks that will provide a way of doing this within v6.

In the meantime, you can use validation to catch return characters before the user leaves the field, or run scripts to purge any returns, but you can't actually disable or reassign the return key within native FM.
