1st sorry , this is a duplicated in another forum. But ...........

Am I the only one who is still having trouble loading the FM7 OSX installer version?

Here's what I have

Stuffit Expander 8.0.2 to open it on Mac.

If I try on PC to send to Mac. The Mac can not read installer , however the folders on PC go 2 or 3 deep. On the Mac it only goes one deep in the folder.

Here the Mac in ????

Get Info says

Format:Mas OS Extented (Jornaled)10.3.3

Capacity: 9.36 gb

Available: 1.5 gb

Processor: PowerPC G3

Speed:366

SDRam:128

I have tried downloading it from differnt places , such as FM and other users who have Installed it on macs.

What the ........... Am I doing wrong?

According to FileMaker site and their system requierments . I meet all the mins.

Yet I still can't load FM7.

If I just run installer with FileMaker 7 Tail as username it times out. If I change username to anything else I get to the accept conditions screen and 99% of the text is boxes. Fom there the installer crashes.

Is this machine a lost hope for FM7?

Wasn't that the version of StuffIt that was broken? I thought there was a fix for it 8.03 maybe?
