DBasine Posted March 25, 2004 Posted March 25, 2004 I want to do a find operation on a related field that is not empty (in combination with 2 other requests). The field is a validated number field for max. 10 characters. When I fill in the "*" symbol or "@" symbol in find mode, it validates on that character, I get an error and I cannot perform the find operation. As a workaround, I check the omit box and fill in "=" (empty field). Is there another way? Because I have the impression that finding with 3 requests: 2 "Match" and 1 "Does not match" (Omit check box checked) is slower than 2 "Match" requests. I also think it should be possible to use the "*" symbol in a validated number field. Version: v6.x Platform: Mac OS X Panther
