Using the trial version of FM7...

Can I no longer have a number field (numberField) formatted to select from a value list of yes/no that will total correctly in a summary field -- summary (numberField)? I can enter 1 or 0 and have the field show Y or N, but I want the user to choose Y or N and have the summary field total the Ys.

Or am I still asleep this AM?

Platform: Mac OS X Jaguar

This is one of the many changes in the new products. Y and N, T and F, S and N, etc. depending on the language no longer evaluate as they did in the past.

FileMaker Pro 7 now returns a FALSE value on empty, blank and zero (0) results. Everything else returns TRUE, which means that, fields with text OR numbers (other than zero) now return TRUE.
