Printed doesn't look like Preview

Hi.

In one of my layouts I have a merged field (which doesn't seem to expand with the cell's contents--I thought they were supposed to?) that slides. It looks really nice in preview mode. But when I print it, only two or so items with lots of whitespace in between come out. I've tested it on multiple computers and multiple printers.

Any ideas?

Fields and text blocks do NOT expand -- the can only shrink using the Sliding/Printing feature.
